[PART 1 of 2] Rascals shooting floating devices in pools accidentally find the body of special agent William Decker, a former field colleague of Gibbs and his ex, the present NCIS director. She tries to handle it separate from the agency, helped only by retired NIS Agent Mike Franks, when she hears a code name only known to the trio at Decker's funeral. Fancy forensics show Probie and Abby -behind Gibbs' back- the warning's deliverer: Viggo Drantyev, a fancy fake identity. It came from Decker's young heiress Sasha Gordon, as he instructed without further details; she's found dead shortly after. Jenny is secretly tailed by Tony and Zhiva, her semi-official bodyguards, who pretended to enjoy a day off when dismissed after the funeral, even retraced after she formally tells them off which Tony wanted to accept, but find desert racks hard to follow. Meanwhile Gibbs keeps investigating the laGrenouille case. Written by KGF Vissers
