Storyline

USMC reserve captain John Rankin was shot, but his death staged as a terrorist shrapnel victim in Bagdad's international 'green' zone. His young widow says his fast business success was bound to get him killed. McGee, the team's only Iraq-virgin, wants to be sent, but so do others; Tony gets the dangerous job of questioning an Arab witness, with polyglot newbie Jardine, and examine the tribal aspect. Gibbs questions Rankin's mistrusted business partner Kelvin Ridgeway and McGee discovers they did a dodgy land deal with geologist George Stenner's cooperation. Written by KGF Vissers
