‘Bob’s Burgers’ Movie in the Works at Fox

‘Bob’s Burgers’ Movie in the Works at Fox
Bob’s Burgers” is getting the movie treatment.

Fox is developing a film based on the hit TV series that will be released on July 17, 2020.

The show, which premiered on Fox TV in 2011, centers on the Belcher family. Bob Belcher runs a hamburger restaurant in a seaside town with his ever-optimistic wife Linda and their three children: the self-conscious Tina, goofball Gene, and precocious Louise.

The series, created by Loren Bouchard, has been nominated for an Emmy Award for best animated series seven consecutive times, winning in 2014 and 2017.

“We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show,” Bouchard said. “We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever-so-slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s — but most of all

Wamg Interview: Actor John Carroll Lynch – Director of Lucky

Actor John Carroll Lynch first caught the attention of moviegoers in 1996 when he played Frances McDormand’s husband in Fargo (“People don’t much use the three-cent stamp”). A native of Boulder, Colorado, Lynch spent the next decade popping up in supporting roles in a variety of films including Volcano, Face/Off, and Gothika. It was his chilling, scene-stealing turn in David Fincher’s Zodiac in 2007 that made moviegoers really take notice and when he went from being ‘that Norm Gunderson guy’ to ‘John Carroll Lynch, – dynamic character actor’. Lynch continued to impress in roles on the big screen in films like Gran Torino, Shutter Island, Jackie (where he played Lyndon Johnson), and The Founder, where he played one of the McDonald brothers. On the small screen he’s entertained audiences as John Wayne Gacy on American Horror Story and even had his own stand-alone episode of The Walking Dead.

‘Starsky & Hutch’Reboot is Picked up by Amazon

Remember “Starsky & Hutch”, that highly entertaining television buddy cop show from the 70s that lasted for 93 episodes? It entertained many of us for endless weeknights from 1974 to 1979 on ABC and starred David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser, as well as one really hot car, namely a two-door Ford Gran Torino. The mismatched cop duo was resurrected in the 2004 theatrical release of the same name directed by Todd Phillips with Ben Stiller playing David Starsky, the high-strung workaholic. Owen Wilson played Ken “Hutch” Hutchinson, who’s a laid-back ladies’ man. The two were detectives patrolling the Bay

A Starsky & Hutch TV Reboot Is On The Way From James Gunn

Guardians Of The Galaxy director James Gunn is set to executive produce a brand new Starsky & Hutch TV series. The project is being set-up over at Sony Pictures TV, and is about to be pitched to broadcast, cable and streaming networks, according to Deadline.

Starsky & Hutch was a hugely popular television series, which ran for four seasons from 1975 to 1979. The original work, created by William Blinn, centered on two detectives, David Michael Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser) and the by-the-book Kenneth Richard “Hutch” Hutchinson (David Soul), traversing the streets of the fictional Bay City, California in a two-door Ford Gran Torino.

It was also turned into a Todd Phillips-directed movie starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in 2004.

Neal Moritz’s Original Film, which produced the movie, will also work on the potential new series.

Amazon have snatched up the recently-unveiled Starsky & Hutch reboot show from James Gunn's production company.

This is the first time the popular director has wanted to pursue a project on the small screen.

“When I was a kid, Starsky & Hutch was the first ‘adult’ show I ever saw, and I fell in love,” he explained in a statement. “It instilled in me a lifelong love of gritty street shows, of killer 70’s threads, and muscle cars. So when Neal Mortiz asked me if I wanted to be a part of an all new Starsky & Hutch on TV, I was instantly intrigued. I teamed up with the two writers I trusted most in the world to work with us, my brother Brian Gunn and my cousin

Oscars: Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott Race to the Finish
It wouldn’t be awards season without a little bit of drama around last-minute contenders sprinting to the finish line. This year, there are three major prestige projects based on true events from powerhouse directors that could really shake up the race.

Steven Spielberg’s “The Papers” — about the Washington Post, the Pentagon Papers, and a watershed moment in the history of press freedom — wasn’t even a go until a week after “Moonlight” won the best picture Oscar earlier this year. The Fox production shot throughout the summer and wrapped in July, aiming for a Dec. 22 limited release. It’s packed with an all-star cast, including Meryl Streep (as Post publisher Katharine Graham), Tom Hanks (as editor Ben Bradlee, a role that won Jason Robards an Oscar in 1977 for “All the President’s Men”), and Carrie Coon (as Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Meg Greenfield), among many others.

Meanwhile, Ridley Scott’s “All the Money in the World

Sam Shepard, Rip: 5 Essential Performances That Illustrate His Genius
Sam Shepard was a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright whose contributions to the theater world spanned decades; by the time he started acting in movies, his career had already taken off. As such, even as he landed an Oscar nomination for “The Right Stuff” and continued to be a regular presence in front of the camera, the multi-talented writer-performer remained primarily associated with the stage. Nevertheless, Shepard remained a major figure in American cinema for 40 years in more ways that one: It’s his tender screenplay that makes Wim Wenders’ “Paris, Texas” such an emotional powerhouse, and he even directed two features, but it’s Shepard’s acting credits speak to his astonishing range — and the way he continued to evolve his skills as the decades wore on. Here are five standouts from a career so rich with talent that we can only begin to explore it with this limited sampling (sorry,

Jenna Fischer, Judy Greer, and Ray Corasani will also join the real-life heroes in the film. Paul-Mikel Williams, Max Ivutin, Bryce Gheisa, Cole Eichenberger, and William Jennings, who will play younger versions of the soldiers.

The casting move is similar to Eastwood’s “Gran Torino,” which featured an almost unknown cast outside of Eastwood, who also starred in the movie.

Following the news that this would be his follow-up to the box office hit “Sully,” Eastwood began a wide-ranging search for the actors who would portray the three soldiers. It seemed the studio and Eastwood had their choices but at the eleventh hour have decided to have Sadler, Skarlatos

A Man Called Ove review: Dir Hannes Holm (2017)

A Man Called Ove review

A Man Called Ove opens with the titular Ove (Rolf Lassgård) at his lowest ebb. Six months previous, his loving wife, Sonja (Ida Engvoll) died of cancer and now he has just been let go from his job of 43 years in a very unceremonious manner. It is this moment that brings him to the decision to take his own life and join his wife. If is a rather morose opening, but like the main character himself, the stoic, hard exterior soon breaks away to reveal a film that has an enormous heart and a neighbourhood of characters that Ove and you will come to greatly care for.

Throughout Hannes Holm’s adaptation of Fredrik Backman’s novel, a dark streak of wit persists as we witness Ove’s numerous failed attempts at ending it all. Each attempt is used as a catalyst for an extended flashback,
