We meet the new and very different cook. We see the reunion we anticipated even though the characters involved did not. We get a good look at the new and impressive Hammersley - room for everyone on the bridge and cool tech that may involve satellite cameras or a magic mirror, I can't say for sure. And there's a dog! Definitely some excitement - boat chases can be as engaging as car chases. But the good guys seem to think weapons are just flags to wave around, even after one of their own was seriously wounded. Unfortunately for them, the bad guys know how to pull a trigger. But it would have been a short episode and no season-story if our guys had done their job in the mangroves. A happy dog can improve any situation, though!

This season is more of the same of the first season but on a different patrol boat arguably better equipped ... this episode is part of a bigger picture because like season 1 the suspects weren't nabbed in the opening episode ... it looks like a trend to drag out the details over the season ... the dog should have got top billing
