"Confrontation isn't always the way to go", 26 April 2008
Author:
skteosk from United Kingdom
The Rachel/Angus storyline begins to drag just when it seemed to be
heading to a conclusion. It's rather telling that the recap has to point
out the significance of Rachel's bracelet since most people had
probably forgotten about it.Karl continues to act in the ridiculously
macho Australian soap star manner that is usually reserved for the
younger characters, Dan gets dragged along to Angus' flat to literally
do nothing and Rachel is left with no-one to interact with bar a
concerned waitress(in a nice little cameo).
Elsewhere, the writers continue to push obviously failed couplings like
Bridget/Declan and Marco/Carmella.There is an instant spark between
Oliver and the decidedly attractive Mia, although she's clear evidence
of the old adage that you should never date your sister's best friend.
Janae clearly hasn't learnt her lesson about blurting out private
information to all and sundry, sparking a row between Ben and Mickey
and leaving the Kennedys with a mess to clear up.Arguably Libby should
have been honest with Ben in the first place but this is one genie that
is well and truly out of the bottle.
