Woman is raped by her husband. No nudity but is still a very intense scene.

Note: The previously mentioned scene is not very explicitly shown to much extent. It is in a dimly lit room, and sounds and muddled signs of a struggle is shown. The issue with the scene is not of a graphic nature, but just very disturbing and unflinching. The scene cuts away shortly after, but the theme and overall idea is very much conveyed.

A man 'moons' his friend for a few seconds.

One reference to rape

A man beats his wife (not graphic)

A man is punched in the back of the head (not graphic).

A woman has a black eye, which looks more graphic as the film goes on.

A dog's severed head is shown.

In the opening scene a man kicks his dog to death, not bloody but emotional.

A man is beaten for a few seconds by three teenagers, a bloody mark is shown on his head afterwards.

Quite strong. 120 Uses of "f*ck". "C*nt" is also used rather frequently.

Characters are shown drinking various types of alcohol throughout the film.

Some characters are seen smoking briefly.

The unflinching portrayal of domestic violence is bound to be distressing for some.

Most of the scenes aren't very graphic, however a lot of them are intense and uncomfortable to watch.
