I recently had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with the lovely Amanda Wyss from A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). You might not know her name but you will definitely recognize her from the role of “Tina” in that film. She has the pleasure of being known as Freddy Krueger’s very first murder victim.
Amanda has worked extensively in film and Television with some of her more well-known films being Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), Silverado (1985), and Better Off Dead (1985). Her genre roles include the vampire thriller To Die For (1988), Shakma (1990), Black Magic Woman (1991), To Die For 2 (1991), and The Graves (2009).
Amanda has had over 50 Television appearances in everything from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1981), St. Elsewhere (1985), Cagney & Lacey (1986), Quantum Leap (1991), Dexter (2006), CSI (2011), and many more.

Jillian Murray of The Graves has been added to the cast of Cabin Fever: Patient Zero. She joins Lydia Hearst, Sean Astin, Brano Eaton, Ryan Donowho and Mitch Ryan in a story that kicks off when a bachelor party cruise in the Caribbean unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical-research island and a deadly virus is unleashed. The passengers must struggle to find a way to survive before their own demons and the flesh-eating bacteria consumes them all.
Comic book artist Kaare Andrews is directing from a screenplay penned by Jake Wade Wall (The Hitcher). Original Cabin Fever producer Evan Astrowsky and his Hypotenuse Pictures are producing Patient Zero with Indomina.

The sexy model turned actress Lydia Hearst is the latest to sign up for Kaare Andrews' ('Altitude') 'Cabin Fever: Patient Zero'. The flick which is set to kick off shooting next month over in the Dominican Republic will be filmed back to back alongside its follow-up 'Cabin Fever: Outbreak'. The 27-year old Hearst (below), who has also appeared in popular mens magazine Playboy joins Sean Astin ('The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers'), Brano Eaton, Jillian Murray ('The Graves'), Ryan Donowho ('The Ganzfeld Experiment') and Mitch Ryan and is said to be playing a 'wide-eyed research grad student'. Andrews will be directing from a script penned by 'The Hitcher' scribe Jake Wade Wall. »
Rob Lieberman’s (Fire in the Sky, Dexter) forthcoming tale, The Tortured, which tells the story of a kidnapped and murdered child and the subsequent crumbling of a family unit, will arrive on VOD May 11th. The picture, which up to this point has maintained status as a certified genre sleeper, stars a slew of promising young talent, including Erika Christensen (Swimfan, Riding the Bullet), Jesse Metcalfe (Insanitarium, John Tucker Must Die), Bill Lippincott (The Graves) and genre favorite Bill Moseley (Halloween, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre II). Post-production has officially wrapped on the new psychological thriller, Visible Scars, starring Tom Sizemore, Jillian Murray (Never Back Down 2, The Graves) and Hannah Hall (Rob Zombie's Halloween).
Written and directed by Richard Turke, with cinematography by Jacques Haitkin (A Nightmare on Elm Street 1 & 2, Wishmaster), the film tells the story of Stacy Walker (Jillian Murray), a young woman who flees to her late uncle’s cabin to escape her abusive boyfriend, only to begin having gruesome visions and hearing voices from the surrounding forest.
Tom Sizemore plays Mike Gillis, a deranged husband who kidnapped baby twin sisters to appease his wife’s desire for kids 17 years earlier, raising them in his basement and killing anyone he deemed a threat.
