One day, in East Point Georgia - about seven miles south of Atlanta - probation officer Paula Clark was brutally shot while sitting in her car. The killer came right up to the window, placed the gun very close to her face and just blasted away several times.
There were no fingerprints left at the scene, making officers believe this killing was premeditated. About a month later, another shooting with the same MO occurs. This time, the man deliberately leaves a note: "I was locked up for six weeks. Someone must pay." On the back of the note, written in magic market are big letters with the name "Jack." Shortly thereafter, two more murders take place with "Jack" leaving his notes and signature on the back of the page. That's four murders and he now seems to be taunting people. The local enforcement appeals to the FBI for help. Soon, there is a fifth victim.
To condense the rest of the story, it turns out the killer only was interested in knocking off his wife. The other murders were just to throw off police! Sadly, that plan worked until his luck ran out and he was finally captured.
