Disappointing
19 December 2013 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I found this Documentary very disappointing.

I watched it as I have a friend who is a bit of a Tesla fan, and keeps going on about him and I wanted to find out more.

But i didn't find out as much about him as I expected. Its more like the person is a launching point to discuss some of his ideas, but they are not explained in detail, nor is his life and work.

There is a quote in here when someone talks about the cult of Tesla, and how people are more interested in being in that cult than understanding his ideas - which ones worked and and which didn't. And that to me summed up this documentary it seemed more about a contribution to the cult than an actual biography of the man and his ideas.

So we get a significant amount of time with a guy making a statue of Tesla - showing the process of its making etc. This does nothing to tell us about Tesla in my view.

So if your interested in the cult of Tesla - watch this. If you want to find out about the man behind the myth - you'll have to look elsewhere
