Own the rights?
I love to fish. I also love to surf fish. However, these Aussies are absolutely CRAZY!! Their quarry is the dreaded Great White shark and how they go about doing this is nuts! Seeing one of them on a surf board paddling outwards with the bait on the hook is something to see!! While I understand the need to get the hefty bait out where the sharks are, the surf board is an insane idea--especially since these sharks are known for attacking seals and things with an outline like a seal (such as a guy on a surf board!). Then, once they catch one for the guys to go into the surf to take out the hook and tag them---how totally nutso can you be?!? I used to think Noodlers and guys who kayak fish for sharks were macho, but now I realize these Australians are by far the most macho (i.e., "crazy") I have ever seen! However, they make for a GREAT and exciting documentary because of all this. See this film--especially if you are a fisherman. It's well made and exciting.
