Storyline

Suzanna Reid read the latest news headlines and Alex Deakin forecast the Weather. Author and Columnist, Jane Moore and The Independent columnist, Dominic Lawson reviewed the Sunday news papers with Andrew Marr. Ten years on from the Northen Ireland Good Friday Agreement, Jonathan Powell, Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Tony Blair from 1997 to 2007, has published his memoirs of his time in office and answers questions from Andrew on this topic. Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague MP, from the Conservative Spring conference, talked to Andrew about the current popularity of his party, the possibility of tax cuts during the first term of a Conservative government, troops in Iraq, and prospects of his party in the next general election. Andrew interviewed Seamus Heaney about his life and work as a Poet. He finished the interview by reading one of his poems. Written by Mark Smith <msmith@osi.co.uk>
