Storyline

Three years after the events of The Godfather, Michael Coreleone has moved his family to Las Vegas, leaving Don Trapani as his proxy in New York. Michael ultimately intends to go legit, passing the torch of his criminal enterprises onto Trapani, and allowing his trusted capo-regimes to form their own families, should they desire. When Trapani is assassinated, his top enforcer, Dominic, steps in to fill his shoes. Backed by a crew of capable henchmen, Dominic is tasked with defending, and expanding, Corleone interests in New York, Miami, and Havana. However, Michael's plans for legitimacy and Dominic's greater ambitions are both threatened by a bloody turf war with the Rosato brothers, a Senate investigation into organized crime, the betrayal of business associate Hyman Roth, and Fidel Castro's revolution in Cuba. It's Only Business
31 May 2009 | by (Mexico City) – See all my reviews

I haven't been playing video games this year, the last one I got was Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 back in last year's November and just three weeks ago I got a new one, this one, the second Godfather video game (I got it for PS3). I have the first one for PS2 and back in 2006 I enjoyed it a lot, thought it was a good game so this one was an offer I couldn't refuse. I think I liked more the first one but still this is a good game, this is fun, this would have been if a new installment in the Grand Theft Auto series would have been soon to be released a great entrée, the perfect thing before the main and delicious dish.

The graphics are great, the story is basic, you know at one point the only left thing to do is to take over every business and end with every rival family. Is quite an easy game, unless you're in Cuba and the military is after you is very unlikely that you get killed. Like in the first one here to end with a rival family you will have to go to their compound and blow it, I'm mentioning this just to give an example of how the game is quite easy, I mean in the compound of each family there are many enemies and all are ready to f*** you and your allies up but if you don't show any weapon the enemies don't show any weapon. While I killed each enemy in the first two compounds I decided to blow my with my shotgun, sniper rifle, etc. my cousin (who "helped" me to blow the third compound) just hit like a crazy motherf***** the enemies and it was much more easy for him to get to where the bomb must be placed! But anyway, I enjoyed very much this game yet it is the kind of game once you finish its story you are not going to play more (maybe online. I haven't played it online but I have the feeling I'm not missing something awesome).
