Just when I was beginning to think that with the exception of some really juicy moments, Angelica Huston's short run on MEDIUM would be a waste of powerhouse acting talent. Well, this two-parter might have been the reason why she agreed to do the series, because her performance in Part Two of this story practically SCREAMS "Emmy." Angelica's Cynthia Keener goes from being a total witch with a capital "B", to letting down her guard and showing you the reason for Cynthia's hard-shelled exterior...to protect a heart that's been torn in two by the pain of a terrible tragedy and the regrets surrounding it, and finally the devastating denouement, when a grieving mother seeking justice decides to find it in the only way possible.Everyone deserves a huge pat on the back for this one. This was one of MEDIUM'S bigger grand slams.
