Hulu adds 3,000 episodes of television following deal with 20th Century Fox

Hulu has added nearly 3,000 episodes of classic TV to its library after a recent deal.

The agreement announced today by the streaming platform and 20th Century Fox, has seen a plethora of episodes from classic comedies and dramas such as The Mary Tyler Moore Show, St. Elsewhere, How I Met Your Mother, and Burn Notice.

Thanks to this significant deal, Hulu is now the home of all 11 seasons of the classic Korean War comedy M*A*S*H, and the full allotment of episodes from NYPD Blue. On top of this, every episode of How I Met Your Mother, Burn Notice, Bones, and Glee will also make their way over.

The new deal sees some of these shows already streaming on the platform, and others arriving in the coming weeks.

Marvel announced the cast and premiere date for its new animated series “Marvel’s Spider-Man” during the the comic giant’s panel at D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., on Friday.

The show, premiering Aug. 19 on Disney XD, takes a fresh look at Peter Parker as the superhero gets accepted into Horizon High, a high school for brilliant young scientific minds. He struggles to balance his social life while hiding his secret identity from his classmates while using his alter ego to take on supervillains.

Hulu is stocking up on animated sitcoms under an expanded pact with 20th Century Fox.

The streaming service, under the new agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, is now the exclusive subscription VOD home to the full run of “Bob’s Burgers” and “The Cleveland Show.” In addition, in the next few weeks, Hulu will add the complete library of Mattt Groening’s “Futurama” and all past seasons of “American Dad,” created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Mike Weitzman.

Another DC Universe Original Movie is on its way, and this one looks like one that is going to put Batman through the ringer. Batman and Harley Quinn has the Dark Knight and Nightwing teaming up with Harley Quinn of all people.

When Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue (a.k.a. The Floronic Man) aim to save the planet, largely by getting rid of people, and Batman and Nightwing enlist Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy’s friend, and frequent partner-in-crime. Chicago – When Mary Tyler Moore passed away in January, it was another reminder of her groundbreaking 1970s TV series “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.” One of her co-stars – who portrayed bossman Lou Grant, and made his own mark in TV and movies thereafter – was Ed Asner.
