Storyline

Suzanna Reid read the latest news headlines and Louise Lear forecast the Weather. Journalist Kelvin MacKenzie, and the new BBC economics editor Stephanie Flanders reviewed the Sunday news papers with Andrew Marr. In the week when the First Minister of Northern Ireland announced his retirement from politics, Dr. Ian Paisley MP MLA, spoke to Andrew about his life, his cause to defeat the IRA and his religion. Comedian Rory Bremner reviewed the past weeks' events in his own humorously unique way. Singer and ex-soldier James Blunt, spoke to Andrew about the influences on his song writing and his former life as a soldier in Kosovo. Andrew interviewed Shadow Chancellor George Osborne MP about the current state of the economy, stealth taxation and what the Chancellor will do in his budget this week. The problems of re-election in such a difficult economic climate were also discussed. Written by Mark Smith <msmith@osi.co.uk>
