Having left the ruins of Sheffield behind the group head north towards Scotland where they hope to find fellow survivors at ARC. It is still quite a way to go however and they have no food or water. Their first problem appears to be solved when they find a deserted farm which has a well that contains drinkable water; however Harriet sabotages the well as she things the others will give up their journey to Scotland. They head off again and see a pig, they attempt to kill it but end up driving into a large hole. It turns out they are on a cliff top over a disused factory. Still desperate for food the lower themselves into the factory where they find that the pig isn't the only animal down there; there is also a large black panther! They attempt to hunt this too but end up being hunted themselves.

As this series reaches its half way point things are fairly tense and more than one time this episode it looked as if one of the group might die: in fact it is possible that one did at the end, the viewer will have to wait for the next episode to find out. The scenes in the factory were fairly exciting and also fairly claustrophobic. At this point in the series the characters are nicely established and manage to be quite believable even though in some cases it can make them a little bit irritating at times. As well as dealing with their situation the group are bonding more, especially in the case of policeman Ian and mother of two Jandra much to the dismay of her son Leo.
