I never wrote reviews before. A friend who watched the movie along with me had sent me a message and asked me to write my feedback. It took sometime to find out where to write and to sign up the account. I was ready to take pains to do this because it is important to talk about these kind of cinemas. Why? It is hard to put in words what I have been experiencing since I had seen this film. I'm thinking about farmers, especially during this lockdown. The director has made the movie in a very clever way. It struck me on many plains. It had made me happy while devastating me. I want to specially talk about the heroine who made a deep impact on all of us. She shouts, dances, loves, slaps, cries, makes us cry, romances, plays, makes us think and do so many things that disturbs us while easing us, teasing us too. She is so plain, pure and real. You feel she's in front of you, talking to you, suggesting you to think, sharing her life with you, telling your secrets to yourself, telling her secrets to the world. The dialogs are very good too. But how can anybody be so alive when it is just a cinema. because there will never be a minute you think there is a performance going on. Never seen that kind of a heroine in our movies before. I hope she will do more movies. The hero is fine too. He appeared passive till last minute until he explodes. The ending was a bit drama, hero was slow, and you want it to be over soon. Leaving that part aside movie is at no time boring. The acting of the director in an important role is very interesting. In Tamil there is a proverb, i will put in English. If you have thirst for knowledge, go for the great thing. Not quite the same but something on those lines. I want to show this movie to my sister and our children. Thank you RD for showing the movie to me and for asking me to write this. Wishing many more success to the powerful heroine Pragathi, great writer KL Prasad, humble hero Vikram and the team who made the cinema alive.
