Here we have this years UK National Final show where the country selects which song represents the country at Eurovision.

Why have they changed the name yet again? Don't they realise that in order to win Eurovision the UK need to send up a good song, not a good title for the national final?

Another thing I don't understand is some of the finalists that there presented as possible Eurovision entrants. That Simona Armstrong was rubbish and so was Rob McVeigh! Michelle Gayle was okay but not brilliant.

I think the Temptations song was probably the best however Andy Abraham was probably the best man to send through as he had good charisma and down to earth personality. That's the sort of thing that can win votes, if people like the person you are. I know it should be about the song, but since when has Eurovision been like that? It's all political now as we saw yet again in the finals!

How can people even consider voting in this competition when the BBC have been done so many times over phone in scandals?!

And why oh why would anyone who is not from the UK want to represent them? Simona Armstrong has Romanian connections, she should have tried to represent Romania instead as the rest of Europe don't seem to have a problem with them. Mind you, she was rubbish anyway so I don't think Romania would have wanted her. Similar story for The Cheeky Girls when they were asked for the UK although not for this year.

I didn't think much of Andy Abraham's song though at first, but it does grow on you. Not that it done much good though. As a big ESC fan, I'm starting to wonder if the UK should pull out. Having said that, countries like Portugal have been trying for years and never won. I would actually be gutted if the UK did pull out to be fair.
