In The Public Interest marks the end of the 14th series of A Touch of Frost, and sees the detective on the case of possible satanic rituals, with the discovery of three bodies found positioned in the shape of a triangle. But the case may have a completely different explanation.There is also the case of ruthless millionaire businessman James Callum determined to make his mark in the area and stopping at nothing to get what he wants. Even the death of a girlfriend in a houseboat fire doesn't deter him. However, when information about a previous victim's death in similar circumstances comes to the fore, Jack realises his quest to discover the truth is about to get very personal.For the many viewers who saw In The Public Interest, I feel they may have noticed the "intriguing" plot about the character of Michelle rather early on. It was rather easy to work out that this character was not as she seemed; it perhaps weakened the whole aspect of the storyline.
