Trivia

Along with Jason being named after Jason Voorhees, all the main characters share names with someone connected to horror movies-Billy (main villain in Scream), Clive (Clive Barker, horror movie master), Annie (after Annie Brackett, Laurie Strode's best friend in Halloween, or possibly Annie Wilkes from Misery) and Sissy (after Sissy Spacek, who played the lead in Stephen King's Carrie.) Goofs

Shawn flashes back on Clive saying that he "stumbled upon Erwen's living quarters," but he was barely present and out of earshot at the moment Clive said that. See more »

Quotes

Burton 'Gus' Guster: You must be out of your mind if you think for one second I'm going out there. I've seen enough slasher movies to know that when a brother goes off to the woods, he doesn't even sort of come back.
Shawn Spencer: LL Cool J made it all the way through "Deep Blue Sea".
Burton 'Gus' Guster: That was in the water, Shawn. With sharks. And Sam Jackson's ass still got swallowed whole.

One of the best episodes ever.
23 April 2010 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

When most comedy shows try to make a horror episode they normally fail emulate or parody and fail to feel right. Psych isn't a show that does this. This episode is pure gold, with quite a twist and puts some blockbuster slashers to shame. Shawn is on form as ever showing the awesome on screen with Gus. There are some moments that make you laugh and even a couple of jumpy moments (a great homage/parody of slasher films) Wish it the episode had been a double so it could have been more drawn out, but that might just be my greed.

A must watch episode for fans of the series. So if you've watched the first two season and are wondering which ones to watch from three, this is a must.

Highlight of season 3 (along with An Evening With Mr Yang)
