Not great like the first one, but still pretty good.

The first COLD PREY was something totally unexpected, who knew the Norwegians could make a horror-movie with such suspense and intensity?

I usually don't like to read subtitles but the first one was so good that it never bothered me once! I really liked the cast in that one and the story too, it was well-made. So when I heard there was a sequel I had to check it out.

Even though most sequels never match up to the original I thought that this just could be one of the exceptions.

But unfortunately it wasn't.

The new cast is not bad at all in fact they are good BUT never reaches the high-points of the actors in the first movie, to make it clear the female lead in the first and the "snow-man" are in this one as well.

They reinvent old tricks as well, they had a nice "geeky" character in the first movie, and they have one in this too but in this one the "geek" is a cop.

The story though didn't feel too intriguing, perhaps it's because in the first movie they were trapped in a house up in the mountains where's in this one they are in a hospital in the small town near-by.

It's just much of a bigger threat if you're trapped in the mountains the in the village.

Also I felt like the "snow-man" was a little under-used in this one.

But all in all it's a good movie, but just not great like the first one.
