Storyline
When the school play loses its lead, Coop steps up to play Romeo in a barnyard version of Romeo and Juliet. But Coop is no actor when he has to stay on book, and as the play spirals into an ever-growing phenomenon at Banting, Coop struggles to find a way out of the gig. Though Tara helps Coop as best she can to prepare, opening night is a disaster until Rusty's backstage antics provide Coop with the fodder he needs to adlib his way to glory. Meanwhile, Rusty is smitten with his backstage partner, Vanessa. And though he messes up his first attempts, Rusty finds a way to make his first date a memorable one... kissing Vanessa in front of a cheering audience. And Van has a bit of stage fright himself, though with the use of a blindfold, he finds the moxie to provide the school play with the musical accompaniment it needs. Written by
