Storyline

Toby (Craig Olejnik) is called as a witness in the murder trial of Leslie Cahill (Brittany Allen), a young singer allegedly shot by her overbearing producer Peter Gavin (Tim Rozon). Having broken EMS protocol by bashing down the door before the police have arrived, the defense is trying to destroy his credibility. In the courtroom, Toby is able to read the thoughts of other witnesses, including the victim's sister (Liisa Repo-Martell) who claims Gavin was responsible for her sister's death. But he's not convinced she's telling the truth when he gets a strange hit from someone else watching the trial. This leads him to discover the victim was being watched and her stalker might hold the key to what actually happened. Toby and Oz (Ennis Esmer) pick up a "John Doe" (Gordon Pinsent) whom Dr. Olivia Fawcett (Mylène Dinh-Robic) diagnoses with Alzheimer's disease. Unable to help discover the man's identity, Toby is shocked when the John Doe gives Toby a clue to his own mysterious past. Written by Shaftesbury Films
