Storyline

When Helen finds out that Gerald isn't getting credit for his ideas at work, she arranges for the chancellor of the college to come to dinner at their house. However, while shopping for the dinner at her favorite store, One Earth, she is accused of shoplifting and banned from One Earth permanently. She tries shopping at the Sav Big discount warehouse instead, but being banned from One Earth leaves her barely able to function, and so Gerald has to find a way to get Helen back into good standing at One Earth. Meanwhile, Bliss looks for a job so she can buy some better jeans. She finds that the jobs open to her as a 15-year-old are limited to peddling candy door-to-door and farm labor, while Ubuntu, who's 16, can work in air-conditioned comfort at One Earth. (In a style of Dan from Dan Vs.) VIACOME!
28 May 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Okay. I'm back with another rant on a show and i'm ready. Now the The Goode Family... I have to say this. This is actually one of the worst shows I have ever seen on ABC before it hited Comedy Central. Now for the reasons.

So the main characters are Gerald, a shirmpy butt monkey, Helen, a smart, sexy wife, and Ubuntu and Bliss, their children. Now first with the dialog, what person makes such ugly parodies!? It just makes me feel like a 1st grader wrote this. And Mike Judge's talent wasted? Weird stuff. Also they make such darkly, flashy jokes! Who wants that over a show that it looks like a first grader made the dialog!? I certainly wouldn't. And, you can faint to or have serious seizures. Now when I saw this show, I thought it had trying to be funny, which leads us to number

2 : Humor. First... The show is not funny! It has poor humor and is actually pretty boring. I mean come on, we've seen other cartoons that go on specific adventures that are more interesting and with better animation at least. Like Dan Vs. when they are attack by penguins. It has at least a better beginning, middle and ending in it and is at least interesting! But as of GF's battle between the grocery store doesn't have a great or interesting story to the main part because it didn't have that much creativity or imagination. if it did, that creativity can try to make it look like a interesting or good part. Onto number 3.

3:The Characters split into summary's. Ubuntu is boring, Gerald is completely stupid and not funny at all. And Helen is supposed to be smart but instead is dumb. Overall the show is uncreative, uninteresting and is obviously made lazily. Why can't shows like these get pulled and they air Bamboo Blade or Oggy and the Cockroaches on NN or CC? Viacome needs to use their actual minds and think about what they're doing. This is my review and bye. Thanks for reading if you did.
