Produced for Key System (and book-ended by its circle-K logo), a big provider of public transit in the Bay Area, this film is a quite enjoyable mix of history (dancing in the pueblos of Spanish California, gold rush, SF quake, building of the Golden Gate bridge, Pearl Harbor and WW2), documentary on the operation of Trans-Bay interurbans (with several extended takes from the engineer's perspective), buses and streetcars, with other scenes more like an extended commercial, and even some animated fun (not so very funny).
One interesting detail was the improvised spur line to a navy shipyards, where old trains from the New York elevated ran on recycled rails and sleepers.
Recommended for fans of transit history, and easily (and legally) downloaded from archive.org. 8/10.
