Decent behind-the-scenes promotional piece takes a look at the mutants in THE HILLS HAVE EYES 2. Writers Wes and Jonathan Craven are joined by directed Martin Weisz and various other members of the cast and crew as they discuss all the work that went into bringing the killers to life for this sequel. We start off talking about the various types of looks that they wanted the mutants to have and then we interview those people who actually make the make-up. From here we hear from the actors who talk about how hard the process was and of course we see how the make-up is applied. Fans of make-up are really going to enjoy this featurette as it gives one a great idea of the type of stuff being used today. The short also features interviews with a large portion of the cast and crew so you get a good idea of the team work that goes on behind-the-scenes. The best part of the short is the various footage that was shot behind-the-scenes because it gives you a look at everything that goes on to make an effect work.
