Storyline

Ernie starts the show dressed as a hippy to Eric's amusement. Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen perform "So Do I". Ernie tries to take a bath with Eric looking on. The Pattersons perform "Santa Natale". Eric steals a Christmas chair from Trafalgar Square. Nina van Pallandt sings "Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown?" accompanied by a children's choir. Eric decides to become a ventriloquist. Sacha Distel sings "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head". Eric and Ernie visit Fenella Fielding to ask her to star in Ernie's next play as Lady Hamilton. Frankie Vaughan sings "Hideaway". Ernie's play is set at the battle of Trafalger in 1805 and is about Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton. Written by jem
