Bear behaving badly is an innocent series by cbbc, which is decent channel for kids, but a lot of their shows tend to be hit-and-miss. Bear behaving badly seems to be in the middle, but slightly on the hit side. The acting is really good by children's show standards, as they seem to capture the children's show essence very well. Particularly the actor playing Mr Prank. The puppet used for Nev may seem stitched poorly, but they make up for it with it's movements. It always looks and feels almost alive. However, sometimes they make the characters annoying to the point where it seems unfunny, and it unfortunately lacked a climax that properly wrapped up the series. It's a shame, as it could have been very high-octane, considering the lengths of absurdity the writers and directors often lean towards. I would say this is a good show for anyone who watched the show "Smile" or anyone who likes British children's TV about puppets (like sooty, story makers, and the fimbles)
