Dominick Gets Fooled, But At Least He Admits It
19 October 2009 | by (Lockport, NY, United States) – See all my reviews

This was an odd episode; the killer of this "whodunnit" seemed obvious and to a few other people I talked to who saw this show. Yet, host Dominick Dunne was fooled, and traveled all the way to Monaco to cover this case and wound up admitting he was duped.

The scenario was interesting: one of the richest men in the world, Edmond Safra, dying in his own mansion under really weird circumstances. A lot of things don't add up, but it was pretty obvious even to the inept Monaco police department, who couldn't tell a stab wound from a gunshot wound and let the billionaire and his female nurse suffocate in a bathroom in a burning house for an hour. Yet, the Monaco police department is not taken to task in this episode!

Even though the killer might be evident to most of you early on, this is a fascinating story filled with so many amazing truths that you'd swear someone with a crazy imagination wrote this up as fiction......but it's not. Along the way in this bizarre case, we get some funny and profound comments made. Just like the main suspect in here, an American male nurse, you just have to see this episode, to believe it. Incredible.
