Sex & Nudity

  • The University Life expansion has an option to allow a Sim to streak, but as with all nudity in the game it is pixeled out.
  • All nudity in the game (eg, when a Sim takes a shower or uses the bathroom) is pixeled out.
  • Sims in the game can interact romantically as young as teenagers.
  • Same sex romantic interactions are also available for teens and older Sims.
  • Teenagers can go as far as kissing and cuddling.
  • Young adults and older can have sexual relationships with other Sims even if other Sims are married in the game.
  • The term for sex is woohoo and the Sims will play under the covers, wriggle, giggle, and moan until confetti bursts over the bed.
  • The player can make the sims woohoo by clicking a "woohoo" or "try for baby" button.
  • Cothing choices allow for suggestive dress, e.g. short skirts and mesh blouses that show bras. There is also revealing clothing that shows some cleavage.
  • Sim characters can also walk around in their underwear.
  • Sims can also have multiple romantic relationships simultaneously.

Violence & Gore

  • Players can take away the doors, windows and smoke detector in a room and then allow a Sim character to set the house on fire giving the Sim no place to escape.
  • A player can also create a pool and then remove the ladder while the Sim is swimming, in that event a Sim character will die of exhaustion.
  • Players can also choose personality traits for their characters that are negative such as evil, grumpy, hot-headed, insane, inappropriate, kleptomaniac, loner, loser, mean spirited, neurotic, and snob.
  • When Sims interact with other Sims in the game they can be mean to each other by selecting the mean tab which then gives options of insult, as the negative interactions continue, more options for negative interactions are available such as slapping, fighting, insulting sim and/or insulting sims mother and can then be declared another Sim as an enemy.
  • Another avenue of violence entails choosing a series of negative personality traits like kleptomaniac, loser, evil, insane, and neurotic, which gives five options of a lifetime wish to choose from.
  • There is a graveyard in the game and Sims with dark personality traits may aspire to see ghosts of specific people.

Profanity

  • All the characters are using a Sim-language which only allows the player to understand their emotions. Profanity is bearely suggested.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • You are able to purchase a bar in the game, but the drinks are never labeled as alcoholic.
  • Sims are able to get drunk, but due to the game's T rating it is never depicted as such.
  • References of drugs (untested medicine that makes you 'high')
  • In World Adventures, you can buy or make your own 'nectar' which appears to be like wine bottles (though the content is different).
  • In Late Night, there are professional bars that offer alcoholic cocktails and beverages that are spoofs of real cocktails.
  • Also in Late Night, there is a disclaimer that reveals that no smoking is allowed in the bar, though this appears in full Sim Language.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Sims can watch horror movies or transform into fantastic creatures (like werewolves, zombies or ghosts) to terrorize the other Sims.
