To think that Lottery money was invested in this effort! The dialogue was less than understandable, poor sound and a jumpy script. It makes Highlanders appear to be a benighted manner!ESS which they are not. The portrayal of a deserted husband and child by a mother is at times credible but after 13 years I think that survival would have taken over. The only thing really credible was that Shell couldn't leave her sick and failing father. Other than that it was a waste of time watching it and indeed making it. It states that the language was English but for the large part it didn't matter if it was Polish or Swahili, the diction sorry mumbling was incoherent.
