Judi spots the moment on the CCTV video where drugs were planted on Wayne, but as she leaves, she encounters Sean who was watching her. Not realizing Dean's involvement, she confides in him about finding the culprit. He tries to talk her out of showing the video to anyone, but she's not having any of it. The next morning, Judi waits for the boy in the CCTV footage to show up, but Sean's already intercepting Matthew. Sean warns Matthew to lie low, and deny any involvement. When he reaches the school gates, Sean's had to leave on an errand for Mr. Brisley and the way is clear for Judi to confront Matthew. She explains about the tapes, and arranges to meet the boy at break. Matt seeks out Sean, but Sean's solution is radical and backed up by his knife - Matthew is to hide in the toilets every break time, out of sight of Judi. Sean pretends Judi has a message to phone home, so he is able to get at her bag, and the video tape inside. He swaps the tape for another in his absence. After school, Matt manages to escape Judi before she can grab him. Judi and Wayne go up to Mr. Robson's office with what they imagine is the CCTV tape. At their house, a depressed Arnie tells his sister about the break up with Dill, and to cheer him up, she pays for a video to be rented. At Gemma's house, her friends meet her black mouse. Her claims that it's very nippy meet with scorn from Cracker, who claims his own mouse "Linford" to be faster. They agree to a race, but their enthusiasm is clouded by worries about the moody, and absent, Matt. Meanwhile at the Arnold house, Dill has bravely knocked on the door, but finds an unfriendly Jessica there. When Arnie eventually arrives he is very rude to her, and she leaves - his father is outraged at his behaviour. In the Media room, Judi confidently puts the video tape into the machine, but then to her and Wayne's horror, a kids programme starts playing back. Mr. Robson just imagines they are playing the fool, and summarily ejects them. In the café, Wayne and Judi puzzle angrily over the changed tape. Then, Wayne realizes they know Matt's full name, and can look him up in the phone book. They aren't the only ones seeking poor Matt - Gemma rings his doorbell, worried about his absence. His mother leaves them alone while she goes out. While Gemma is there, Judi calls his number, having tried all the other "Singletons" - Matt answers and hangs up straight away. They decide enough is enough, and go round to his house. Wayne bangs furiously on the door, while Matthew frets on the other side...- Written by Geffers
