In the hockey match, half time is an opportunity for the Hill Hogs to agree to forget their differences and fight as a team. Things are looking up for the Double Dare gang when Tom notices that one of the opposition team's helmets is one of the stolen items. Then Arnie and Chris's tempers flare up again, and Arnie walks off in a rage. Dennis goes to see "Equal Footing" about his planned adventure trip to Australia. He sees a busy office of able bodied people and almost gives up, but then one of the organizers, herself wheelchair-bound, calls him over. She gives him encouragement, but he must build up his muscles to be fit enough to pass their admission test. Wayne is getting a grilling from the police over the drugs found in his pocket. At school, Sean gives Judi some rather hollow sympathy about Wayne, but she dismisses the idea that Wayne would take drugs.
