Goofs

The astronaut's mission patch found on the luge racer's outfit is incorrect in two respects. First, it refers to the mission as "Mercury 3"; the mission was known as either "Mercury-Redstone 3" (MR3) or by the capsule's name, "Freedom 7". Second, the patch worn by Alan Shepard was a square black patch with no pictures, just the Legend "Freedom 7" embroidered in white. See more »
