THE ROCHAMBEAU KID is an amazingly dumb film that is so stupid, it's terrific. And don't worry, it's supposed to be stupid! After all, the film begins with a man dying in a headed "rock, paper, scissors" competition!! A decade later, the dead man's son appears and tries to defeat this same man--only to quickly lose. Then, like in Hamlet or STAR WARS, the dead father appears and tells the son to avenge him and seek out the greatest living rock, paper, scissors master for training!! The whole film is so silly and tongue in cheek that you can't help but love it. The jokes are corny fun and the film never has any lulls--with laughs from start to finish. See this film--it's terrific.
