Low budget good results...
15 January 2008 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

The series follows the adventures of Gus Worland as he travels through India following the Australian Cricket team. He befriends several locals who become his guides on his journey. Viewers are presented with the passion of India's Cricket fans amongst which Gus barracks for his beloved Aussie team.

What makes this series interesting is that even if your not a Cricket fan, there is ample coverage of local customs and culture as Gus takes part in local High School sports, a guest in an Indian home, and backyard cricket....

Overall An Aussie Goes Bolly is like a Lonely Planet/Pilot Guide series of India with India's Cricket fever a major theme.

I have just recently got back into watching the Cricket and this low budget show is a nice addition to Cricket season viewing...
