A brilliant conclusion.

Steven truly is a monster, he's under constant surveillance, and still manages to commit two murders.

Boyd's buttons are well and truly pushed by Steven, he makes him incredibly angry, Eve is excellent throughout.

It's not often the team came up against someone so incredibly clever, but Steven was, he ran rings around them, including the forensic department, it seemed as if they'd never pin him down.

The ending really comes as a shock.

Boyd really goes off the deep end

Warning: Spoilers
Boyd really goes nuts here and almost drowns a suspect in a bathroom. No matter how much vengeance might be satisfying, YOU CAN'T DO THAT IN REAL LIFE. Shouting at victims and wives of suspects is one (terrible and ridiculous) thing, but this is a new low.

Diry Harry strikes again.

Warning: Spoilers
Boyd is quickly becoming a vigilante. In almost every episode now he's now torturing and abusing suspects. He also abuses witnesses and talks to them like they are dirt on a regular basis.

The police and criminal act (Pace) has ceased to have meaning for Boyd.

He's become everything he used to hate and dispise.

In the episode he breaks so many rules and gets clean away with it.

I'd like to think that such policemen only exist in fiction.

Whilst I think waking the dead is as good as it gets, Boyds Wild and illegal behaviour is starting to get tiresome.

The writers seemed to have substituted high quality writing, plot and character development for a cross between Dirty Harry and Deathwish.
