Mr. Holbrook was consisted of a large costume that had hand extensions. Actor David Riley portrayed the character by wearing a large mask that sat on his shoulders which forced him to look out the neck of the monster. This was said to be rather difficult to do considering all filming was done at night and it was as if the costume wearer had sunglasses on all the time.
In the scene where Chris and Saraya are walking across the small bridge. The rotten arm that comes out of the water is actually the arm of Director Arronn Lepperman. The murky and possibly dangerous swamp that they were filming in wasn't the safest place and Director Arronn Lepperman didn't feel comfortable asking anyone to have to be submerged in the water other than himself.
