I absolutely love this show. I watched them in reruns in the 1960s and 70s, and now have the complete series on DVD.
However, this episode seems to have the same problem that other less-than-stellar episodes have: it's a one-joke story that, due to the script, plays out seemingly forever.
Now, of course, we know that Amos will always get his comeuppance at the end of each episode; and when the script is sharp, it's a pleasure to watch.
As I said, though, this episode seems to drone on and on until the obvious end.
Oh well, it's almost time for me to tune in for the next episode. Hooray!!
