A better version, but still has it's problems
30 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Compared to the episode from "Batman: The Animated Series", this episode is way better. It's not as lazy for one, and the addition of the trio being animal/human hybrids is a cool concept. I've always had a fascination with people turning into animals. A lot of the changes they added are good, like instead of bored rich kids, the trio's three college misfits. Instead of masks, they're anthropomorphic animals. The episode still has problems though, like it's never explained how they got the chemicals from Langstrom, and their reason for wanting to turn all of Gotham University into animals is kind of weak. I get that they're outcasts, but it just seems ridiculous that they would want to punish people for that. Aside from those problems though, I'd rather watch this over the episode from "Batman: The Animated Series" any day.
