As an offering it is a decided success

There is clever picture writing in this farce by Alice Williams. Its fun centers in Reggie (William Wadsworth). who is played as a conventional sissy-boy, but in his quite unconventional foolishness there is astonishment and compelling fun. We think that the leading role might have been played a bit more humanly, but must warmly comment the player for striking fire again and again, especially it the high points. Robert Brower is perfect as the youth's employer and Gertrude McCoy is what was wanted in the role of his daughter. Alice Washburn's work as boarding-house keeper is well known. Amy Lee and Harry Eytinge also have parts. As an offering it is a decided success. C. Jay Williams produced it. - The Moving Picture World, November 1, 1913
