This amazing series was for sale at a reduced price - probably the best bargain I will ever find. Six programme hours of splendid breathtaking photography and thoughtful and thought-provoking commentary. I have not seen this on TV (obviously) and have read his book, how lucky I was to fall across this. I cannot begin to encapsulate this into a review, it would not be possible to do it justice, but it was enlightening and educational without boring, twee-ness or any hint of the sanctimonious. Geldof is passionate about the continent, and that is highly infectious. I hope, with all my heart, that he will be able to return and make another series covering the countries that were south of this series.
