Interesting. Enough Said?, 18 August 2009
Author: Aphotica from Dark Pits Of Pain

Let me begin by saying I enjoy bizarre, off-shoot movies. But, generally, they have to be good or "progressive". In short, I decided to look for one in my local video store and came across this. The title and photograph of the cat in the film's artwork immediately caught my eye, however, I was not going to judge such a work by cover art. This film is not for the impatient, number one. Overall, the acting could have been a bit better and well, some scenes were a tad bit too long. I feel the cinematography lacked, but the sublime humor made up for this. Still, I was left wanting something a bit more condensed or thought-out.

After our hero, simply unnamed (you can call him Guy) is demoted and ends his recent wife with divorce, his number one cat (Goliath) comes up missing. Que the existential humor? Well, good stabs at it, to say the least. The cat was the only thing the guy had left!

The plot was simple, but could have been relished with more development. Sometimes, you would run into a scene that was just too long. Actually, there was only one I could think of that really bothered me. Signing divorce papers is tedious, but, it's not a burden any should bare. Hopefully the director will learn to shorten these moments in his next film. Solid film, experimental story, good in-sight on human emotion and a super-sugary ending. Although there isn't much music, it does well when pushed onto the audio.

Plot: 7/10 Acting: 6/10 Cinematography: 6/10 Music: 7/10 Comedy: 8/10 Direction: 7/10 Originality: 8/10

Slap a seven on that, babe.
