Bit confused
20 December 2007 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I enjoy watching this series, but sometimes think it is a little biased towards the kids. They are obviously very intelligent mostly private school kids and the adults they pick are usually thick as bricks. Even the odd one who has a high IQ stumbles on a question, not because they are unintelligent but because they may have learned it a long time ago, such as a nursery rhyme. The one weakness the kids seem to have is that their spelling is generally not that good and their answers although correct are spelled wrongly (i.e. ghot instead of goat). Perhaps it is because spelling is not given priority any more in schools these days. Mind you strangely enough and very suspiciously when the question is a "Spelling" question, even though they have spelled badly up until that point they can always spell the word asked, even though sometimes they are quite hard. It can't be dyslexia as suggested by others, unless it is a new form of "selective" dyslexia. Or am I being a bit cynical here.
