Changes tone on a dime
29 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I don't think an episode has switched tones so fast as this episode. The only other two that come to mind are "Baby-Doll" and "Mad Love". Also, with Hal Jordan and his awesome powers, there's added action to the combat scenes and Sinestro is 150% evil. The episode starts off serious, then goes into comedy when Penguin gets the ring, then back to serious. It's a great balance to both types of tones that adds up to one entertaining episode. Green Lantern might be my favorite DC superhero with actual powers. I don't know a lot about him, but I know he's got plenty of stories behind him, and his ring powers are really cool.
