Richard E. Grant looks at the history of Sherlock Holmes, including the many movie and TV adaptations.
As soon as I read the information for this documentary, I knew that I would be in for a rare treat. Richard E. Grant clearly has a huge interest in the character of Sherlock Holmes in the stories and in the television/film productions. Especially after starring in two Sherlock Holmes films.
The guests are also Sherlock Holmes fans and most of them are actors who appeared in the Granada television series of Sherlock Holmes starring the late Jeremy Brett, there is a touching and warm tribute to him in the show.
An excellent documentary which I highly recommend for all fans of the Great Detective.
