Storyline
| Plot Summary |
German Rhineland wine estate heir Andreas Landsberg has left that business to become a physician and spend several months working in Udaipur, India, where maharajah style luxury still contrast with abject poverty. Now he invites his widowed mother Anna. She hoped for his return but gets invited for his impending wedding with Indian upper class modernist colleague Savita Singh. Andreas's friend Ferdinand Weißenberger, an Austrian her age, takes to her while she wrestles with the shock.
