When Victor, a young boy who enjoys making monster movies, learns that his dog Sparky has been hit by a car he sets out to bring the dog back to life the only way he knows how. With Frankenstein-like features, Sparky frightens the whole neighborhood and is eventually rejected by them. Victor must convince them all that Sparky is the same loyal pet that he always was. This is a stop-animation version of the live action film Frankenweenie (1984).
