Dawn French's Boys Who Do: Comedy
26 February 2008 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

You remember Dawn French doing that series about female stand-ups from the UK and America, well this one focuses on the many great male comedians. From all types of comedy background, she chatted to pretty much all of them. They talked about their careers, comedy experiences, what they think makes people laugh, and what they would have done if they hadn't got in comedy. It was remarkable to see the amount of famous faces were in the programme, but also the reality of knowing just how famous some of them are, and them talking to Dawn French! Starring Bill Bailey, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Russell Brand, Rob Brydon, Jimmy Carr, Frank Carson, Steve Coogan, John Cleese, Jack Dee, Hugh Dennis, Omid Djalili, Ken Dodd, Ben Elton, Noel Fielding, Lenny Henry, Charlie Higson, Eddie Izzard, Jethro, Sean Lock, Matt Lucas, Jackie Mason, David Mitchell, Bob Newhart, Graham Norton, Paul O'Grady, Simon Pegg, Vic Reeves, Jimmy Tarbuck, David Walliams, Robert Webb, Paul Whitehouse and Robin Williams. Very good!
