Storyline

With Uncle Pete now dead, Patty finally tells Tom Shayes that she is under investigation by the FBI. However, when Tom asks his sister, who has access to Justice Department files, just what the investigation is about she reports that there is no record or an FBI file to be found. Patty declares war of sorts on the FBI and visits their office to make it clear that she holds them responsible for Uncle Pete's death and will stop at nothing to ensure justice is done. Wes decides to ask Katie Connor out on a date but asks Ellen if she has any objection. Ellen says she doesn't but her response is less than convincing. In a flash forward to two months into the future, we learn where Ellen gets her gun. We also learn that Patty has had a major falling out with someone. Written by garykmcd

Sometimes Ellen Is So Tiresome
9 April 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Ellen is supposedly so astute when it comes to analyzing evidence. Yet she is duped time after time after time. There's Wes. There's those FBI guys. There's the simple idea that Patty is responsible for her nearly being killed. If she was so amazing (other than for her looks) she would at least make an effort to put two and two together and see how many irons are in the fire. What about Uncle Pete? She spills all this stuff to everyone so that she could be responsible for the eventual deaths of people. The bad guys seem to think she is smart, and yet time after time she get things wrong. I enjoy this show, but maybe now that the guy with the beard has decided to have her killed, something may get set in another direction.
